Victoria Richards

Victoria Richards is a journalist with over 20 years of experience in national newspapers and magazines. She began her career as a trainee reporter in the Welsh Valleys, trained at the Press Association, and has worked for BBC News, Financial Times, The Times, Sunday Times, HuffPost UK, and The Independent. She currently serves as Voices Editor at The Independent, where she oversees opinion content and edits the Independent Women newsletter. Richards is also a published poet and author, having won the 2017 Oh Zoe! Rising Talent Award for her children's book 'The Forgotten Forest' and published poetry collections including 'You'll Need An Umbrella For This'.
