Tim Starks

Tim Starks is an experienced journalist specializing in cybersecurity, with a career spanning over two decades. He currently serves as a senior reporter at CyberScoop, having previously authored The Washington Post's Cybersecurity 202 newsletter from July 2022 until his departure in December 2023. Starks built his cybersecurity expertise through roles at Politico (2015-2020), where he created their Morning Cybersecurity newsletter, and Congressional Quarterly (2003-2015), where he began covering homeland security and intelligence.
