Tim Barnes-clay

Tim Barnes-Clay is a UK-based freelance motoring journalist and editor with over 30 years of media experience. After earning an NCTJ postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism in 1994, he began his career in radio and television, working as a presenter/producer at ITV Central and reporter for various regional radio stations. Transitioning to automotive journalism, he became a member of the Midland Group of Motoring Writers and now specializes in car reviews, vehicle press launches, and motoring features for publications including FQ Magazine (where he serves as editor), Sorted Magazine, and Select Car Leasing. His work combines written reviews, video test drives, and voiceover narration, with regular contributions to both digital and print platforms.
