Stuart Ramsay

Stuart Ramsay is Sky News' Chief Correspondent and the network's longest-serving foreign correspondent with over 30 years of frontline reporting experience. A University of East Anglia graduate (1985) and honorary doctorate recipient (2018), he has covered 18 wars across Chechnya, Africa, the Middle East, Afghanistan, and Eastern Europe. Ramsay gained international recognition for his 2020 exposé from Bergamo's COVID-19 ICU wards that first revealed the pandemic's severity, winning a British Journalism Award. His dangerous assignments include being shot during a Russian ambush in Ukraine (2022), clandestine reporting on Myanmar's civil war (2023), and early documentation of ISIS's emergence in Syria. The two-time Emmy winner has received four BAFTA nominations and numerous honors including London Press Club's Journalist of the Year.
