Sophie Vening is a seasoned freelance journalist specializing in homes, property, and interiors with over 16 years of experience. She began her career as an editorial assistant at House Beautiful UK, later becoming News & Homes Editor at Build It magazine and Editor of Grand Designs magazine. Her work has appeared in major UK publications including Metro's Homes & Property and Evening Standard's Homes & Property sections. Vening holds an MA in Magazine Journalism from Kingston University and focuses on affordable housing, property finance, self-build projects, and practical home improvement guides.
