Sheilla 'Shei' Mamona

Sheilla 'Shei' Mamona is a London-based freelance journalist and broadcaster with extensive experience in beauty, travel, entertainment, sports, and race & identity. As of mid-2025, she is no longer a staff member at Glamour UK, having completed a temporary holiday cover role there in 2025. Shei has secured bylines in leading publications including British Vogue, Glamour Magazine, Marie Claire, Refinery29, Dazed, Allure, The Sunday Times STYLE, The Evening Standard, and The Telegraph. Her writing is recognized for its intersectional approach, often exploring the cultural and societal dimensions of beauty, identity, and representation, particularly from the perspective of Black women. Shei is also a prominent presenter, having hosted major events such as GLAMOUR’s Women of the Year Awards and panels at WebSummit and WIRED Smarter Summit. She is the Team Director for Technically Doing It (TDI), the first and largest all Black & Brown professional snowboarding crew.
