Roisin Oconnor

Roisin O'Connor is a distinguished journalist who serves as the Music Editor at The Independent. Her career trajectory began at The Independent as a freelancer in 2014, where she worked across various desks such as pictures, news, and social media. Two years later, she was appointed as the Music Correspondent, a role created specifically for her. Over the years, O'Connor has interviewed prominent figures in the music industry, including Metallica, Liam Gallagher, Lewis Capaldi, Shania Twain, and 50 Cent. She is also known for her extensive coverage of major music events like the Brit Awards and the Grammys.
