Rebecca Schneid

Rebecca Schneid is a journalist currently serving as a general assignment reporter for TIME, covering U.S. and global news. A 2023 Duke University graduate with degrees in English and Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies, she honed her skills through roles at the Texas Tribune (as a 2023 Austin-based reporting fellow), Los Angeles Times Metro desk, and Duke's 9th Street Journal. Born and raised in South Florida, Schneid gained early experience at the South Florida Sun Sentinel and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High's newspaper, where she covered the aftermath of the 2018 school shooting.
