She authored the Guardian column 'Doing it for Dad' about her father's dementia. Her debut novel 'For When I'm Gone' (Orion Fiction, 2020) won the Guardian’s Not the Booker Prize, followed by 'The Trip' (2023). She's currently a Senior Writer at Velocity Partners while working on her third novel for Harper Collins.
