Rebecca Ley

Rebecca Ley is a London-based journalist and novelist. She began her career in business journalism before transitioning to B2B marketing in 2018. Her work has appeared in The Guardian, The Times, Irish Daily Mail, Scottish Daily Mail, and Daily Mail, where she covers human-interest stories and personal narratives. She authored the Guardian column 'Doing it for Dad' about her father's dementia. Her debut novel 'For When I'm Gone' (Orion Fiction, 2020) won the Guardian’s Not the Booker Prize, followed by 'The Trip' (2023). She's currently a Senior Writer at Velocity Partners while working on her third novel for Harper Collins.
