Olly Smith

Olly Smith is a British TV presenter, award-winning wine expert, columnist, and author with a diverse career spanning media and viticulture. After earning a master's degree in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, he began as a screenwriter for animated series like *Pingu* and *Wallace & Gromit*. His career pivoted to wine journalism after winning the 2005 *Wine Idol* competition, leading to regular appearances on BBC's *Saturday Kitchen* (2006-present), Sky One's *Taste*, and Channel 4's *The Wheel*.
