Lisa Nainggolan

Lisa Nainggolan is an award-winning medical journalist with over two decades of experience specializing in diabetes, endocrinology, and cardiology. She spent 12 years as a senior reporter for theheart.org (now Medscape Cardiology), establishing herself in cardiovascular reporting before transitioning to cover diabetes and endocrinology for Medscape and WebMD for over 10 years. Her work includes groundbreaking features on gender dysphoria treatment in adolescents and mitochondrial replacement therapy ('3-parent babies').
