Lindsey Ellefson

Lindsey Ellefson is a journalist with over a decade of experience covering topics ranging from media and politics to substance use and recovery. She holds a bachelor's degree in communications with a broadcast journalism specialization from St. Francis College and is pursuing an MPH at NYU's School of Global Public Health. Previously, she worked at CNN as an associate producer and later at NY1 as a producer, where she developed the #1ThingToKnow digital project. Her reporting focuses on human-centered stories about addiction, harm reduction, and practical life hacks.
