Karen Conway

Karen Conway is a globally recognized healthcare strategist and award-winning journalist with over two decades of experience bridging supply chain operations, healthcare policy, and clinical outcomes. After retiring from GHX in 2024 where she served as Vice President of Healthcare Value, she founded ValueWorks to advance value-based healthcare systems through supply chain optimization. Her career includes leadership roles at Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) where she helped build the world's largest healthcare supply chain platform, generating significant cost savings for hospitals. Conway holds a Master's in Healthcare Delivery Science from Arizona State University and chairs multiple industry boards including AHRMM (American Hospital Association's supply chain association) and GS1 Global Healthcare Leadership Team. She was inducted into the Bellwether League Hall of Fame for Supply Chain Leadership and recognized as a 2019 'Pro to Know' by Supply and Demand Chain Executive magazine.
