Kara McGrath

Kara McGrath is a New Hampshire-based writer and editor with over a decade of experience in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle journalism. She currently serves as Content Director at Allure, where she leads content strategy across digital platforms and launched the Beauty of Accessibility franchise in 2020 to promote disability inclusion in beauty. Previously, she developed fashion and beauty verticals at Bustle from 2014-2019. Her work has appeared in Refinery29, Seventeen, The Knot, and New Hampshire local publications. She holds a journalism degree from Hofstra University and attended cosmetology school.
