Jessica Chia is a seasoned journalist and investment banker with a unique dual expertise in beauty media and financial advisory. She began her career as a beauty editor, rising to Executive Beauty Editor at Allure Magazine, where she covered beauty's intersections with culture, science, and identity for over a decade. Her heritage as the daughter of a Singaporean father and Mexican-Puerto Rican mother informed groundbreaking stories like features on all-female mariachi bands and beauty techniques for monolids. After being recruited by Anna Wintour to consult for a private equity firm, Chia earned an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and transitioned to investment banking.
