Jen Thomas

Jen Thomas is an accomplished radio presenter, music journalist, and showbiz reporter with over 25 years of media experience. She currently presents on Planet Rock Radio (Tuesday-Friday nights), Magic Radio, and Mellow Magic (weekends), while also serving as a staff showbiz and TV reporter for Daily Star Online since 2021. A graduate with first-class honors in Broadcast Journalism from Nottingham Trent University (2018), she began her career at 14 by founding an online music magazine and later worked at Milton Keynes Citizen newspaper. Her award-winning career includes six Student Radio Awards (SRA) for Best Female Presenter and Best Specialist Presenter, plus nominations for her mental health documentary 'When The Music Stops'. She's written for Metro, NME, Rolling Stone UK, Metal Hammer, and TechRadar, with notable interviews featuring artists like Corey Taylor and Yungblud.
