Jackie Fields

Jacqueline (Jackie) Fields is the Deputy Beauty Director at PEOPLE, where she has built a 20-year career specializing in beauty journalism. After joining the brand as an editorial assistant in 2005, she progressed through roles including reporter, writer-editor, and senior editor before assuming her current leadership position. Fields pioneered PEOPLE's first dedicated beauty page in 2009 and now oversees the annual Beauty Awards program, a flagship initiative she developed. Her reporting focuses on celebrity beauty launches, market trends, and product innovation, with particular emphasis on fragrances, lipsticks, and textured haircare solutions. A Tufts University and Parsons School of Design graduate, Fields combines analytical rigor with aesthetic sensibility in her coverage. Based in Brooklyn with her English Bulldog Bowie, she maintains strong connections to her Boston roots through support of New England sports teams.
