Holly Wainwright

Holly Wainwright (born December 1971) is a British-Australian journalist, author, and digital media executive who has shaped women-focused content as Mamamia's Executive Editor since 2014. Born in Manchester and raised in Wales, she began her career in London's print journalism before moving to Australia in 1995. After holding editorial roles at Woman's Day and OK! Magazine, she transitioned to digital media in 2013, driven by disillusionment with traditional media's treatment of women. At Mamamia, she rose from parenting site editor to Head of Content, while co-hosting the flagship podcast Mamamia Out Loud and authoring five novels exploring modern relationships and motherhood. Her 2021 treechange to regional NSW with her partner and two children became emblematic of pandemic-era lifestyle shifts.
