Christiane Maria Heideh Amanpour

Christiane Amanpour is a renowned British-Iranian journalist and television host, born on January 12, 1958, in London. She is CNN's Chief International Anchor and hosts 'Amanpour' and 'The Amanpour Hour' on CNN International, as well as 'Amanpour & Company' on PBS. Amanpour's career began at CNN in 1983, where she rose to prominence reporting on significant global events like the Persian Gulf War and the Bosnian War. She later worked at ABC News, hosting 'This Week,' before returning to CNN.
