Brittney McNamara

Brittney McNamara is an award-winning journalist with over a decade of experience specializing in health, social justice, and youth-focused issues. She currently serves as Features Director at Teen Vogue, where she investigates systemic issues impacting young people, including mental health, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ identity, and incarceration's effects on youth. Her career began in local Massachusetts journalism, covering politics and community events for MetroWest Daily News and Walpole Times before transitioning to national platforms. At Teen Vogue, she has led investigations into the #MeToo movement on college campuses, abortion access under the Trump administration, and vaccination policies. McNamara's work combines data-driven reporting with personal narratives, often highlighting marginalized voices and policy implications. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Magazine and Print Journalism from Boston University and is a Pulitzer Center grantee.
