Benjamin Parker

Benjamin Parker is an award-winning travel journalist currently serving as Deputy Head of Travel for Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, and MailOnline, appointed in June 2025. Previously, he was Travel Editor at The Independent, where he won silver in AITO’s Young Travel Writer of the Year (2021) and received multiple nominations for Travel Writer of the Year. His career began under mentorship from travel author Sophy Roberts, followed by roles as commissioning travel editor at The Telegraph and contributions to The Economist, The New York Post, Conde Nast Traveller, Tatler, and The i. Parker specializes in immersive travel narratives, exemplified by his award-winning feature about sailing Indonesia with his grandmother. He has also edited two cookery books and maintains a focus on unique destinations and experiential storytelling.
